Write about any future planned road trips. Those days following The Warning were very interesting.

Okay; what kind of society would you CHOOSE to live in, if you did't know who you would be within it - rich or poor, black or white, Muslim or infidel, Jew or gentile, gay or straight? What does it mean to lie together as free and equal citizens in a democratic society? Putting politics and personal chauvinisms aside, let's talk about this! FREE AND EQUAL, BY Daniel Chandler

Please go on! Is that a book by Chandler you're referring to?

Maybe do a piece about how music has helped people in their lives, whether it be to connect with others and friendships, dealing with difficult situation, emotional release or dealing with depression, or expression as I am sure a lot to say there,

I adore your poetry. I’d love more of that. Or, if you’re really stuck, I’d love if you shared a poem you love with an explanation of why you love it. I need more routine injections of poetry in my week. :-)

More poetry, coming up!

Hey Dan, still waiting for a story on how coffee affects your life. What you get out of having coffee and maybe a little history about coffee. Have a great day!

I remember you asking! I have that on a list some where. But I'll tie it into a batch of interesting coffee beans my brother-in-law brought me from Texas last week!

I have a couple of ideas. 1. Your pets, specifically how they came to be part of your family. 2. The library, really anything about it. I enjoy reading about it and what's going on there.

Readers seem to like library stories!

I always enjoy your library posts. Maybe do a "Did you know . . . " post?

Like, "did you know our library's event room still has the original tin roof from 1893?" That sort of thing?

Yes, that sort of thing!

Hi Dan,

An idea that educators may be interested in…how about searching the state for one-room schoolhouses? I know of two in Hudson and Nashua. They are open for the public on a limited basis, so you’d have to arrange a time to see the interior. Some of the schoolhouses are ‘in disguise’ since they are now private residences, or used for other purposes. The historical societies of most towns should have maps for locations.

If you’re looking for a shorter project, you and Uma may find it fascinating to compare school buildings of yesterday with today.

I like this! I seem to remember there being one in Londonderry as well!

Hmmm, I feel sort of listless and unexcited about that topic.

I like when you write about your family and watching your little girl grow up and how fast she is growing up. I remember when my own kids were little and thinking about how fast they would grow up and I was right. My two daughters are a year and 10 months apart and then there is 7 years between my younger daughter and my son. I did so much with my girls and we would go out exploring the natural world as often as we could, we loved being in the woods and near water and would walk up the middle of rivers hoping from rock to rock exploring and then look back and realize how far away we were from where we started. Then when my girls were in school I was home with my son and wasn't able to do as much with him as I did with my girls because of their schedules. We all wish for more time and I often say, I miss my little girls and my little boy, and then I remember all the things we did together and how much we were able to experience life and just enjoy each others company and hold onto that instead. I love how much you do with your daughter and the way you feel about her and how much you love her and how proud of her you are shows in your stories. I am interested in knowing if you have any plans in your future for more adventures together with her and if she has thought yet about what/ who she wants to be and how you are supporting her with those plans, Thanks for your stories, I look forward to reading them every day.
