Children are interesting when it comes to taste. I watched over a 6 year old way back when and one day his parent called and said he had to go to the hospital as he swallowed pills. He was ok. I asked him why. He said "I was sick and had to take the pills to get better. They tasted bad so I did them all to get rid of them."
I remember my grandfather (who live with us) chewing on a milkbone one day because he too “wanted to see what they tasted like”!! Of course by this time he had Alzheimer’s ….
So awesome! I can't think of many people I know who haven't eaten (or chewed on) something that isn't "people food." It's part of learning and discovery!
That said, yecchh: the best remedy for that is a tasty plate of momos!
Trying new foods is a great indicator of bravery and curiosity. :-)
Good spin on it LOL
Ha ha, love it!
I've wondered what pet treats taste like, but I have never tried one. I figure if my cat likes it, that's enough knowledge for me.
