Such a wonderful post -- it might appear in a sermon soon ... with your permission. If that's OK (I am thinking ahead to the Sunday before Thanksgiving ... I'm in a different place each week -- last Sunday it was Unitarian Universalists in the morning and Indonesian Congregationalists in the afternoon). If I have your permission, please tell me how I pronounce your last name.
So true. I used to tell my students that you do not know what was going on in someone's lives last night or this morning, so think about what you do or say. "What the world needs now is love, sweet love. It's the only thing that there's just too little of. What the world needs now is love, sweet love
No not just for some but for everyone". (1965 sung by Jackie DeShannon)
Thanks, for this, Dan: it's so easy to pre-judge people wihtout knowing what is happening in their lives. I am glad that this turned into a happy (if loud) story of human kindness in a weary world.
❤❤❤❤❤ Having been on the receiving end of "positive" results, there is so much joy and wisdom in this post. We need more of that as a society.

Oh my goodness, what an honor that would be, of course! It's Says-Knee :)
Thank you so very much.

We just don't know how other lives are going...so sometimes we all need to be understanding.
Wise words, my friend.
I LOVE this post! Your best ever. So many truths in there!
Awww thank you!
Love this. ❤️
