First, Dan, my condolences for your losses. One at a time is hard enough but 4 must seem unbearable. Second, as one who likely has far more birthdays behind me than in front of me, learning to be in the little moments and appreciate the people in my life in any capacity really resonates. Thank you.

Thank you, I'm glad it resonated. Being in the moment sounds so simple, but it's really so hard! Keep talking and we'll get through together.

I'm so sorry, Dan. So many losses, so close together, regardless of closeness, are hard to take. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on it; I hope you can let yourself feel and be, even through the pain. Wishing you comfort, strength, and peace.

Ooof. That hit me in ALL the feels. First, I want to express my condolences on these many losses. My heart goes out to you as well as to the closest kin of your friends. Second, I’m so glad you shared your meditations with us. Your words struck a chord and I intend to revisit this later tonight. Would you perhaps be willing to share a link to the lecture you referenced? I think I’d like to watch that, too.

We were there a couple years ago -- one friend (or relative) a month for 12 months in the first year of covid. Not as tightly packed as yours but a feeling it was relentless. Sending love.
