Reminds me of doing piano recitals myself a century ago, and my parents having me do Christmas carols on the piano 🤣
I wasn't in a band, but a friend and I in 8th through 12th grade would jam at his house sometimes, him on guitar and me on his moms baby grand. I also sang chorus from 7th - 12th grade.
Interesting. My grandson (15) plays guitar, getting better but at that age hard to get around to play with others. My son was in a band for many years, a drummer. He always says playing well is only 50%, being motivated to find a group and fitting in is the other half.

Go Uma Go !!
Cool! Remember how to play still?
Well, I do remember how, but I haven't in a very long time. 😬
Nicely done, Little Bean!! I played clarinet in the high school band.
Remember any of it these days?
Nope. After I took music theory my senior year, decided that music was not my natural mode of expression and never would be.
It's so interesting that you were able to recognize that so early on!
The math involved was the kiss of death.

Yes! She has good skills, but enjoys it more around other musicians!
