I met them all last year, when they was the supporting act for The Warning. They are all humble, down to earth, extremely polite, and approachable. These are the same attributes that DPA have, and this matters as much as their music does to me. Liking the members of a band for who they are goes a long way to gain loyalty, and reciprocation with return ticket/merch/media sales IMO. I happen to like them all a lot.
I really like her advice given to Uma here. Dream, but stay grounded and focused on what matters. That is priceless information.
Thanks man, and thanks for the enthusiasm and coming along on this crazy ride with us! Please toss the post a like and feel free to share on your socials or on The Warning socials, we're trying to drive engagement for Uma!
Really loved your interview with Kat, Uma (Little Bean ) And I had forgotten they helped TW write that song. Really loved how they referred to TW as their fav band .Also interesting they only have 2 main band members. Can't wait for the shows and to see the vids from the shows in Mexico .
Thanks so much, I'll pass your words over to Uma! Yeah, the two bands really seem to like each other. The Mexico shows are going to be off the chart! Oh, and be sure to go up and give the interview a like here as well, it helps boost the story to the top! Cheers!
I liked how you asked about the origin of the band name- the answer was not what I expected!
I think a lot of bands use a lot of religious terminology . Kat’s answer was a surprise. Her parents died when she was at an impressionable age. How awful for her- she was alone in the world. The band and music came from within her- as a means of self preservation. She’s very driven and ambitious.
I listened to them and you ain’t kidding- blistering guitars and vocals galore! She pointed this out too, “ Hmm, what’s a nice girl from NH doing in a metal show like this?”
It wasn’t lost on Kat that you’re not a typical metal head!
Good job all around, good questions. I’m looking forward to your trip to Portland and the WMPG studio. It’ll be a fun experience for sure!
Great job by all here. 💓
