The eyes have it. Eye aye aye, Cap’n. If you get conjunctivitis over a cloudy spot in your eye, are you like Elvis with a pink cataract?

I was informed at my last eye exam, that I'm starting to develop cataracts. Boo, hiss!

Same, Liz; but at least my eye doctor told me I won't have to worry for several years more before surgery.

My eye doctor told me the same thing. I won't need surgery for a few years.

After taking prednisone I was left with cataracts in just a year. I had the first one removed and was in shock of how badly I was seeing. I should not have been driving! It was truly amazing. Now both eyes are done and my far vision is perfect. Still need close up though. By the way, I love looking at x-rays, etc of my body. Weird? I say - curious.

Welcome to the "Glasses Off" Club, my friend! I've been getting the "you should get progressives" comments for a couple years now. I always want to yell "I'm already wearing progressives!!" LOL, I'm a progressive Progressive, I guess. My doctor told me he does the exact same thing and it's actually easier on my eyes to take off the lenses when it seems right.
