After taking prednisone I was left with cataracts in just a year. I had the first one removed and was in shock of how badly I was seeing. I should not have been driving! It was truly amazing. Now both eyes are done and my far vision is perfect. Still need close up though. By the way, I love looking at x-rays, etc of my body. Weird? I say - curious.
Welcome to the "Glasses Off" Club, my friend! I've been getting the "you should get progressives" comments for a couple years now. I always want to yell "I'm already wearing progressives!!" LOL, I'm a progressive Progressive, I guess. My doctor told me he does the exact same thing and it's actually easier on my eyes to take off the lenses when it seems right.
The eyes have it. Eye aye aye, Cap’n. If you get conjunctivitis over a cloudy spot in your eye, are you like Elvis with a pink cataract?
I was informed at my last eye exam, that I'm starting to develop cataracts. Boo, hiss!
Same, Liz; but at least my eye doctor told me I won't have to worry for several years more before surgery.
My eye doctor told me the same thing. I won't need surgery for a few years.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!
I actually think the dark spot is your fovia, and the lighter spot that the blood vessels come out is your optic nerve.

See eye to eye, easy on the eyes, apple of my eye, feast your eyes, bulls eye!
That looks like the polaroid pictures I have of my eyes. My pictures were taken many moons ago though.
