I love this! Yes, just do! My weekend will be making a dent (finishing?) in the final hand stitching of a quilt I've been working on, and getting my mother's dollhouse from a sister so we can fix it up for my granddaughter. Good projects for yet another rainy Saturday.
Fabulous philosophy! I am going to adopt it starting today (although I kind of have been without realizing it). Here are a few examples of how I already follow this philosophy: I can't climb a mountain (not that I was very good anyhow), but I can hike a trail on or near a mountain. I can't write fiction or poetry, but I can read and appreciate it. I am not a professional photographer with a fabulous camera, but I have a pretty good artistic eye and with my iPhone 15 Pro, I take a ton of photos and post them online and people seem to love them. And all of these things and more make me very content.
I am so happy to have read your posts about George. He truly was an inspiration to all of us!
I don't know what I'll do this weekend other than I know I'll do something...that's the fun of it.

I remember reading about George! I hope his passing was peaceful.
This weekend I'm going to wrestle with a new poem that is not coming easily, but I'm not giving up on it because the content is important to me.
