I've always thought change is good. I changed jobs in my 40's and found it was really good to focus on something new...not stressful, just new.

I know what you mean. I went back to college in my 40's and changed to a teaching career from a Cartographer.

I immediately thought of a scene from All in the Family. Archie and Michael are having a serious conversation while Michael is putting on his socks and shoes. Archie notices how Michael is doing it and it devolves into an argument about the correct way to put on your shoes. So, do you sock, sock, shoe, shoe or sock, shoe, sock shoe? We are creatures of habit but some have thoughts/anxiety when doing things different (they are butterflies) and some need to do it the correct and only way (bees). : )

I've been challenging myself with a 6 wk course Fridays 630-8 am forest bathing class outdoors. So cold and I was dreading it but boy was it magical! So true that when we try challenging things, we grow and learn. Simply delightful.

That is a very “yoga/Zen” thought! My former yoga teacher had us try this all the time, creating new pathways in our brains, it’s so good for you! Thanks for the reminder Dan!

So funny. First thing I was aware of, naturally, that my mouse is on my right as I am right handed. I put it to my left. Oh my. It is a wonder that I did not crash my computer! Next, my coffee mug and warmer go to the left. Uh oh.
