Parenting is an adventure, raising children a big part of the ride. We introduced our son to many things when he was a kid, thinking that was a good way to do it, not pushing one thing or another. He loves to fish to this day and his passion led him to his career with NH Fish & Game as a fisheries biologist so...you never know.

Her designs are stunning! My personal thought would be to just encourage her to keep doing what she clearly loves to do. Plenty of time ahead for her to decide where she wants to go in her life, career wise. She may keep this as a hobby, she may decide that this is what she wants to do for a career. She’s a smart cookie — if she goes for it as a career, I have no doubt she’d find a way to make it work. But time enough for that once she’s closer to college age. Meanwhile, these are stunning!

I think "no strings attached" is a fine way to approach it. That gives her a safe space to nurture her artistic side.
