Brought my grandson to his first rock show recently, then another. They were both cover bands (GTLO/Zep-Lotus Land/RUSH) and to say he was mesmerized is an understatement. He's 14, plays (attempts) drums/guitar/bass guitar. I think opening the music world to a child is one of the best things a parent (grandparent) can do.

Thanks Jim, I agree! And give a listen to The Warning. I think you and he would love them. Straight ahead power trio rock. And the history and story behind the band is just as amazing. Try this - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_RB0tRI624

Their cover of that when they we little kids went viral and what jump started their career. All the old time rockers like myself who have been watching them since they were young are called Warning Uncles.

My sister loves Pentatonix! She'll be jealous you're going to see them live. When you write about the experience, I'll share it with her. I hope you have a great time!

She heard Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody on the radio the other day and she said, Daddy, this group is ok but I like Pentatonix's version better.

Awesome! My mom brought me to live theater, not concerts. And I did the same with my son. He found concerts on his own.
