Re: basketball...my son & grandson played/play b-ball in college/high school. Most coaches (and me) tell players move to get open and call for the ball, arms extended to receive, eyes on the passer. The better teams all do this.
The same day you attended Bean's concert, Jennifer and I spent the day cleaning and cooking in anticipation of having our two goddaughters (along with two friends) over for dinner. We so adore them, as we do Bean and all of our younger cohort: everything feels new and wonderful when you're experiencing it with someone trying it for the first, or even fifth) time and not the hundredth. So very grateful for them, as I know you are grateful for Bean, showing you the New, and bringing lessons for you both, daily. ❤️
As busy as all those events are, you will miss them terribly when she's grown and gone. I'm sure you know that! I would give almost anything to see my son play lacrosse again or soccer, or hear him play piano.
