We Can't Thank You Enough
This Is Our 200th Consecutive Post!
Today, a thank you. A thank you from Little Bean and I because we want to take a moment to be grateful for all of you sticking around and rolling along with us here.
We had a big boost in the last week or so of both subscribers as well as donations toward Day By Day and my goodness how kind that is of all of you! I suspect this recent bump has a lot to do with our stories about and preparation to drop Little Bean’s first solo, exclusive story in a few days, May 22, her interview with the teen band Freeze the Fall.
So, I thought it would be worth a simple, end of the week post where I make sure I let you know how lovely you all are and how much fun this strange, challenging, crazy trip has been.
You are reading our 307th post by the way since Day By Day began on Nov. 1, 2022. This is also our 200th daily post in a row!
I wasn’t sure at first if doing a daily post would attract or scare off subscribers and I’ve been pleasantly surprised that it seems to have worked. A few have left us, but the gains are consistently higher than the losses and as long as that’s the case, we’ll keep on it. In case you’re wondering, we have nearly 500 subscribers in our community which is astounding to me!
We have no plans at this point to create any subscription fees or different subscriber tiers, in part because I’ve also been shocked at how often you all straight up just donate toward our Buy Me A Coffee fund. I can’t tell you how much that means to me, not to mention keeping me in the coffee and Little Bean in the juice boxes. Thank you!
So, looking ahead. This coming week will be big. That interview drop is happening on Wednesday and will be followed by an exclusive only-to-subscribers email with some background material, behind the scenes on the project and pictures. That’s going to go only to all of you as a bonus and a thank you!
And depending on how that goes, Little Bean has been asking about interviewing other bands and we THINK we have two lined up. I don’t want to give that away yet, but stay tuned. Also, we just learned that The Warning will be touring the states in September and boy do we have something special planned for that.
We’ll have more on libraries, because in terms of engagement and shares, our library stories are the most popular. We have a whole bunch of fun summer adventures on tap, and of course there’s some NH history and way more rocks coming as well.
