Today, separate from my regular Tuesday morning post, a brief amusing interlude.

The library receives donations. Lots and lots of donations. Folks often would much rather donate their books to the library than to Goodwill, or even worse, throw them out. And that’s fine! We have an annual book sale that’s a fundraiser for library operations and we’re happy to give donations a good, second home.

Sometimes, we get donations that, how can I put this, strain our credulity.

Case in point. This is a real book, from a real publisher! Circa 1984.

It is everything one would think it would be. It is indeed a, ahem, POP UP book. I’ll leave you with your own thoughts on the matter, along with a couple (tastefully edited) photos to feast on.
