As we do on occasion, we wanted to give you all a heads up of some upcoming stories and features, and do a quick subscription drive.
So, first of all, on behalf of Little bean and myself, thanks so much for being here. It can be challenging coming up with something every day, but all your likes and comments and shares make it worth it!
To that end, we’ve slipped past the 600 subscriber mark and are set to shoot for 700. Can you help us? So, what do we have in store for you in the next few weeks? Well, here’s what to look forward to:
Tomorrow, June 15: Our AC/DC chapter book wraps up with an unexpected after-show surprise.
June 18 and June 25, Wednesdays: Chapter Seven and then Chapter Eight of our fire tower hiking guide book, “Where There’s Smoke,” drops! You can find all the chapters archived here at Day By Day.
June 20, Friday: Uma and I had the pleasure of interviewing one of our favorite New England bands, Major Moment. They have a new album dropping on streaming services on the 20th, and you’ll get to hear all about them!
June 26 or maybe the 27, Thursday and Friday: This will be the days after our huge MGM Music Hall concert in Boston! We’ll be seeing Black Veil Brides, Bloodywood and Baby Metal! We have passes to meet BVB and an invite to visit with Bloodywood on their tour bus. Oh boy! You know we’ll have some stories to tell.
July 1, Tuesday: Interviews by Uma tackles the young sibling band, Speed of Light. We’ll be meeting them later in the month as they open a big tour with The Warning, so we guess you’ll be hearing more about them as well. Uma landed an exclusive!
And in between all that, we’ll have stories on the brand new Book Nook at our library, some thoughts on the Fourth Grade Clap Out, updates on the New York State fire tower guide, a big trip we’re taking in July and a whole lot more.
