Little Bean and I wanted to take a day to just say thank you!
Her interview with Ashley Suppa of Plush, which dropped on Monday, just 72 hours ago, has become the second most read and shared post in Day By Day’s history - and that’s nearly 525 posts and stories!
So thank you to all our long time readers as well as everybody who signed up in the past couple days, for giving her so much attention and encouragement. What a wonderful launch to her new series, Interviews By Uma. We’ll continue with her next drop on Monday, January 13 featuring Kat Leon, the lead singer and composer of the band Holy Wars.
Meanwhile, if you missed it, you can read the interview here: Ashley Suppa Interview
(By the way, we’re asked this all the time so you should know that our number one story in terms of likes, shares and engagement was published on Jan. 2, 2024, about the Great NYC Horse Manure Crisis of 1894! The story went mini-viral, and was shared dozens of times on Twitter and Facebook. It seems unlikely that any other story will top it. Upon hearing this, Little Bean suggested that if poop is what readers are interested in that I should write a story about dog poop because dogs are popular.)
Anyway, after Ashley’s interview was published a funny thing happened. I received a message from a friend of ours, Gary Alexanian, who happened to be standing right next to us at the Plush show in Portland. Gary saw the picture I took of Little Bean with Ashley and, it turns out, Gary took a quick video of that photo shoot. Then, it occurred to me that Gary is probably in the stage shot that the band took at the end of the show, and sure enough, he is!
So, presented for your amusement here today are those three pics and that one video!

And finally, here’s Gary’s short video. We touched it up a bit with some other pics. Thanks Gary for letting us share!
Congratulations on a job well done, Uma!
Little Bean’s interview was the best article, color me Impressed!
