Friends! I hope you don’t mind a bit of updates and self-promotion for upcoming events. I’ve been asked quite a bit recently if I’m going to be doing any book events this spring, and the answer is yes! I call this PL and AL, Pre-Librarian and After-Librarian. I was doing 3-4 events a week in my pre-director days. Now-a-days it’s 3-4 a month, but hey, I’m still out there man!
Anyway, here’s the upcoming schedule. Just click on the description to learn more about each event:
April 5: Book Talk Front Row Author Guest. Concord, NH
April 7: Alaska talk. New Castle, NH
April 11: Hiking w/ Kids. N. Andover, MA
April 22: NH Rocks. Laconia, NH (Taylor Community, 2pm)
May 24: NH Humanities Road Show. Littleton Opera House, NH
There’s lots happening now, it often does as we near springtime and summer. The second volume of NH Rocks That Rock will be hitting sometime in the next couple months. You can even already pre-order if you like: NH Rocks That Rock: Memorial Stones.
There’s been movement on the new Fire Tower guide, something that was held up and nearly killed thanks to Covid. I’ll tell you more as soon as I hear.
And there’s a very special project that literally came out of the clear blue sky that I’m in talks about right now. I want to tell you about it so badly, but can’t yet. Stay tuned.
Anyway, this is as good a time as any to tell you how much I’ve appreciated your support and comments and shares. This community is all about YOU and I’m glad you’re taking something away with these little weekly meditations.
Tell me what’s happening in your life. What are you working on? What’s new?
Till then, I can’t wait to see you out on the road. Stay cool, find your center and keep the faith.
Cheers,
Dan
Love the self-promotion. a little earlier would help (I would have loved to go to the New Castle talk but am booked. My only news is "Death in the Woods" second in the Rev and Rye Mysteries out on July 11 (so a ways away.
Nothing wrong with self-promotion! My second book is due out this spring and will definitely be in bookstores and on my table at the Auburn Duck Race! It should also be with me at the Fuller Library in Hillsborough on June 17th.
