A Quick Break To Get Ready For What's Coming
Today, we wanted to take a moment to relax, catch our breath and pull ourselves together for the next couple days because, well, things are happening!
Normally, we wouldn’t just lay out the upcoming week here at Day By Day because part of the fun for us is not exactly knowing what comes next. You know, taking it Day By Day.
But the story stars have aligned in such a way that we have a full plate of delicious tales for you - all quite special - lined up.
So, make a note of it!
Tomorrow, Chapter Three of “Where There’s Smoke” will drop. We hope you’ve been enjoying this hiking memoir so far, with a new chapter coming out each Wednesday.
Thursday, May 22 is the one year anniversary of Interviews By Uma. That’s the day her first interview, with Freeze the Fall, came out. We’re not sure exactly how we’re going to celebrate that. How would YOU like us to celebrate? Should we gather the interviews in one document? Do YOU all have any questions for Uma? Let us know.
Friday, May 23 is a good one! One of our favorite bands, Holy Wars, have a new single and video dropping that day called "I Feel Everything" and they agreed to a quickie interview with Little Bean about it. We're working out the details, but we hope to get an advance listen to the track and then we'll drop something about it on Friday morning! This band - besides being face meltingly awesome - are also some of the nicest humans and they've been very kind to Uma. So look for that.
Saturday, May 24 is Ren Faire time. Maybe it’ll just be a collection of photos and video from the amazing two days we spent at the NH Ren Faire. But we want to get something up. Little Bean had the time of her life!
Sunday, May 25 is Acca Dacca Sunday. Just another little nibble of a story from our day down at Gillette in the wind and rain listening to the greatest Rock and Roll band that ever played.
That’ll push us into next week. Anyway, Uma and I just wanted to say thanks. Our community here is growing slowly, but it’s growing and that’s all that matters. Many thanks to all of you who have shared and leave comments. It means a lot!
So, just a fast post today. A look ahead. Get ready, it’s going to be a fun week!
