Shorty Monday
A Couple Small Things
Today is shorty Monday, where I address a couple quick upcoming things that will make much bigger stories later!
First, today Little Bean called my wife and I into the living room to announce that she had written a song. Not just a sound effects of aliens attacking Earth sort of thing, but an actual song on the piano with verses and a chorus. Well, it’s not quite there yet, but it’s pretty good for a nine-year-old. She says she modeled it after the music of Freeze the Fall. So, obviously, I’ll be writing more about that.
Second, yesterday Day By Day went nearly viral for some reason with nearly 10k engagements on the front page and a bunch of subscribers. Substack doesn’t let me know where exactly the clicks are coming from unless someone shares and nobody did yesterday, so that means somebody copied and pasted to something or someplace that drove that much traffic. If you are one of my new subscribers from yesterday, hey, let me know where you found us!
Third, mine and Little Bean’s video blog (VLOG? Is that what the kids call it?) about our great Portland adventure to see PLUSH and Sorrowfuse is nearly complete. No idea if it’s any good, but it should be fun. We will premiere that on our YouTube channel at 10am tomorrow, June 26. Come check it out and subscribe to our YouTube channel as well.
