Reels, What the Heck Are Reels?
Today, Something New (To Me, Not to the Rest of the World)
As Little Bean and I recover, recuperate, unpack and otherwise generally decompress from our trip to New York, here’s something new (new, only to me) to tide you over until I can gather my thoughts and write a Mish-Mash post about everything.
The few days we spent together in the Adirondacks seeing Pentatonix, climbing the state’s highest fire tower, and otherwise being tourists, were - as most such things are with an eight-year-old in tow - revelatory.
She’s been a traveler from an early age and her sense of adventure and willingness to step outside her comfort zones continues to amaze me. So, today, two Reels - those strange Instagram video thingies that one can make, and add music and other bells and whistles to. I figured I’d play around and create two, one from our concert and one from our hike. I tried to add words to the concert Reel but it somehow got cut off and fixing it felt like a tremendous bother so it is what it is.
