A variety of tiny moments…
A mutt: Walking the pup today was a combination of freezing water and ice skating rink. I mention this only because he tired out fast and crashed in an adorable fashion, and also because I needed an excuse to post his picture to drive engagement!
A measurement: I just checked the other day - there are currently approximately 17,000 libraries in the U.S. There are approximately 13,500 McDonalds. I like to look this number up from time to time to make sure we’re doing ok.
A masterpiece: The album, Moving Pictures by Rush was released this week in 1981. ‘Tom Sawyer.’ ‘Limelight.’ It dropped during a very tough period in my life. It may have saved me.
A meditation: It occurred to me that listening to my daughter practice and fail and practice and noodle around on the piano is relaxing and enjoyable. Listening to her do that on the violin is, well, not so much.
A-mazing: Those crazy teens from Kelowna, Freeze the Fall, are back with a new single called ‘Hypothermia.’ Little Bean was intrigued by Jonah’s tree bark drum kit in the music video so we asked them about it. Here’s what they told us: ‘We had an extraordinary set decker, who first covered the whole kit in heavy black paper and then literally hand glued all of the bark and moss to the drums. It has all since been removed. The skins were essentially vinyl decks that we laid over the drum skins.’ Check out the band’s incredible video for the song below -
The mutt is just adorable!
