Today, some random teasers for up coming stories next week!
First up, this coming week is a big, big musical week for us. Besides Little Bean’s interview on Monday (see below), this Sunday, we’ll adventure down to Massachusetts to catch the new Baby Metal tour movie - kind of like Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour movie, only, you know… Then, next Wednesday, Little Bean performs in a school holiday Chorus Concert. Then, on Friday, we head down Londonderry way to catch our favorite AC/DC tribute band, Thunderstruck. We’ll be meeting the boys backstage and the ladies have made some special gifts for them! So, we are ready to rock!
About that big interview drop! We are only three days away from the first Interviews By Uma series being published. On Monday, Dec. 16, the monthly series will start off with her interview with Ashley Suppa of Plush. The story will be exclusive, first, right here to subscribers.
January’s Interviews By Uma will feature Kat Leon from Holy Wars. Little Bean is really excited about this series and we can’t wait for you all to check it out. Want some special behind-the scenes jpgs sent straight to you? Just email us at Interviewsbyuma@gmail.com and let us know!
I recently stumbled upon information regarding yet another friend with a surprising, interesting past. (If you recall, we already wrote about Larry who was a bagpiper in an AC/DC cover band.) Well, now, it turns out our good friend and HippoPress music reviewer Eric Saeger was the lead singer of Druid, an 80s power metal band out of Groton, Mass. Apparently, the band released an EP and an album (which I’m trying to get my hands on) AND they made it into the now-defunct Boston Rock Hall of Fame. Here’s Eric’s Amazon page, you should check out his books ‘cause he’s a writer as well - Eric Saeger on Amazon
I adore finding these little tidbits about our friends and it makes me wonder what’s out there that you all are hiding!
Eric told me that if we used this picture, we had to be clear that he was the good looking one. He’s also third from the left!
