I'm Sure We All Have One
I’ve been feeling a bit under the weather the past couple days, so today, I just have a quick pick me up to share as we head into the weekend. I realized that this week is the ninth anniversary of one of my favorite photos that I ever took, of Daughter 1 and Daughter 2.
We had just come back from thrift shopping and found the Tough Cookie shirt for Baby Bean and Janelle was holding her. The joke is that Janelle’s trail name is Tough Cookie, so a changing of the guard I suppose.
The photo is a bit blurry and cropped all wrong, but it’s one of those shots that I’m going to be turning back to again and again as I sit in my slippers on my front porch watching the birds. Know what I mean?
Anyway, that’s it for today. What are your weekend plans? Anything exciting happening?

Preparing to lead a four day retreat for forty folks at Calumet campground in West Ossipee ... OK the event will be fun, the prep ... not so much. Thinking about photos -- lots more fun. And here we are my mother, father's mother, cousin Julie and myself 7th or 8th grade ... these were tough times and we are laughing around a table as if we could fall in my grandmother's chicken..
