We have important work ahead of us today; work of the heart and soul. Work of colors and core memories, work that defines who we are and how she’ll remember.
Anyway, that’s the plan.
While the girls are at school, barely able to contain their excitement, I’m busy with the prep work required to make sure our face melting Thunderstruck concert tonight is both a shredding good time, but also safe and incident-free. Live concerts can be unpredictable, live concerts with two kids even more so.
So, not much to say today except we plan on keeping the faith, making Bon Scott proud and making sure the girls have fun without losing their purses or their hearing.
Over the weekend, we’ll talk about it. Sound good?
Meantime, what concert do YOU remember as being the first you ever went to? What do you recall about it? Who took you? Do you still listen to that band or performer today?
Let us know. Until the weekend my friends, rock horns in the air. Let’s go!
First show: Pablo Cruise at the Hampton Beach Casino...and I still listen to them!
First (stretching it) Johnny Cash, second (genuinely rock) the Kinks.
