As best as I can tell - at least in the foreseeable future - I have no actually need for a commercial dolly at home. I mean, there IS a yard sale coming up and those old pavers needed to be (hand) trucked someplace, but for the $250-300 price tag of one of those industrial level monsters, I have no need.
So I bought it anyway! Look at that beauty! This could be one of those moments in my life where a hand truck becomes the most exciting part of my week.
I grabbed it, actually, because all the Rite Aid stores went out of business last week and they were having their final days sales where they were trying to literally get rid of everything in the stores that wasn’t screwed down.
I picked up tons of mailing envelopes, Christmas lights, tape, staples and some other stuff for pennies.
And a hand truck. For a mere twenty smackers! Maybe the best deal on anything I ever paid.
So now, the hand truck sits dormant, awaiting its second life. Perhaps for my library book sale? Perhaps to give neighborhood children a dolly-ride? The possibilities are endless.
Have you ever made a big buy because the price was right?
... "ti's so nice to see it home where it belongs!"
Maybe you don't have an immediate need for it, but that dolly is going to be very handy the next time someone has a large book donation for the library!
